Our Beliefs and Practices

• Our church is committed to the chief authority of the Bible in all of faith, life and worship.

• We believe that the Westminster Confession of Faith along with its Larger and Shorter Catechisms are a faithful summary of biblical teaching in the areas which it addresses.

• Our worship services are characterized by reverent simplicity (Hebrews 12:18-29). See the Worship page for further explanation and sample orders of service.

• Our preaching is expositional and Christ-centered (2 Timothy 4:1-5).

• Our church government is Presbyterian, which means that our congregation is governed by a session which is made up of its pastor and ruling elders. In addition to the pastor and elders, Presbyterians have deacons who serve in ministries of mercy.
